My Way

This one is an original :)

Lost amidst the clique I boast of,
Not to epitomize myself as a braggadocio,
Flummoxed in the hinterlands of congeniality,
Not to gasconade the bantering nature of my amigos,
I tenderly lathe my way through this world!

Amidst Zillion Faces

Thought of sharing an old poem (inspired by a Shankar Mahadevan song)

Amidst zillion faces,
I am groping for one simulacrum,
Who just utters my appellation,
Whose eyes just greets me,
Who in the world just loves me,
And whom I love alone in this world.

Amidst zillion faces,
I am groping for one simulacrum,
Whose fate determines mine,
Who breathes only for my love,
Whose all dreams are about me,
Whose talks are full of ebullience,
Who in the world just loves me,
And whom I love alone in this world.

Amidst zillion faces,
I am groping for one simulacrum,
Whose very presence makes the ambience perfect for me,
Whose very appearance is like flowers to my sight,
Whose entry makes my life vivacious,
Who brings happiness and peace to my heart,
Who considers me the closest of all,
And whom I consider closest to me.
